OOC Information
Name; Jenna
Year of experience; 3+ years.
Sample of your ability; "You've got three minutes before I leave, with or without you!" The figure at the bathroom mirror, rolled her deep brown eyes for the third time this morning. Of course, it was a daily routine in the Petrella home. Michael, her older brother, was her transportation due to the force of their parents. He in particular didn't exactly approve of this. Well she was a girl, and any guy would have to get over it. She continued at the mirror, waiting for the hot straightener to uncurl every last strand of her just-as-deep of a brown hairs on her head.

Ten minutes had passed, while light eyeliner and mascara had just been applyed to her eyes. A light sigh escaped from her mouth. As she shrugged her shoulders lightly, her turqoise camisole top & light grey hollister zipup rose an inch or two, before sliding back down into place. With a final glance at herself, Alanna straightened out the little creases made on her tattered AE denim capris from leaning forward. "I'm coming!" She called down from the balcony. Reluctantly enough, Michael was still waiting, anxious at the front door. Grabbing her small bag from the kitchen table, Alanna continued over to him.

"Oh, do please lighten up a bit, you're going to have to get use to this, for another nine long months." She teased her old brother, hoping silently she wouldn't get hit for it.

Well, her plan failed as she stumbled back a bit from the force of his push. "Just-go get in the truck." Michael shortly stated, opening up the door. Alanna cheesely grinned, heading for, and soon into the truck, waiting anxiously for him now.

School was soon right around the corner, as it would be for the two years, including her current junior year, of her high school career. As they came to a stop in the parking lot, Alanna stepped down from her brother's truck, thanking him for the ride. Well, she had to be somewhat of a nice little sister, he did bring her here. With one last wave goodbye, Alanna turned, headingfor the building, on a beautiful Monday morning, at 7:10 AM.

Character's Main Information
First Name; Alanna Niccole Petrella
Surname; al, lannie, trella jr.
Age; sixteen, seventeen soon!

Outer Character Description
With natural deep auburn hair, styled and cut just above shoulder length, curls to pin straight was often noticed within the locks. Eyes of a rich hazel stared back at any glance, often lined with casual light make up. Mascara, and a bit liner always did the trick. Flaunt your natural beauty. Alanna did just that. With skin smooth and slick, it was tanned to a golden 'perfection' over every inch and curve of her (what she'd love to consider) nearly-flawless figure. With hips and a stomach of the dancer she grew to be since the age of two, it wasn't uncommon that she could attract stares with skimpy articles of clothing. Flaunt it.

Standing tall at just a few inches over five foot, Alanna didn't let her lack of height get to the best of her, though often, silently, she'd curse the genetic trait that was unfortunately passed down from generation to generation. When dolled up, Alanna showed her true age, in public without cares of her looks, she looked to be the age of thirteen. Nothing to be thankful for.

Of course heels were constantly adorned to her rather small feet, but it wasn't typically her height that people noticed first hand. Weight? Which girl in the entire world was crazy enough to give an exact number.. without lying? Proportioned. That was her answer. Enough to be seen, that's for sure.

But perfection wasn't any sort of factor that played within Alanna's life. The littlest things, like the way only her face burned when initially exposed to the sun, or the way her ankles and heels were scarred for good of red marks of numerous dance footwear. Her arms alone were nothing she was proud of. No matter how much time spent in a gym, the studio, or just at home, muscle never was shown within the upper body area. Something she'd aughta' thankful for, huh.

Scars; ankles, knees, shins & one on the roof of the mouth from surgery!
Piercings/Tattoos; belly button, a few in the ears, and the tongue web. ooh lala!

Inter Character Description
Personality; There wasn't exactly a certain phrase or word that could best describe Alanna. She acted naturally in several different ways around specific people. She could be spotted as the shy, extra-cautious friend who worries just slightly too much, but at the same time could be the wild free-spirited beauty living life to it's fullest. Mood swings were what pushed her from changing attitudes.

Did she have flaws? Of course, is there anyone who doesn't? Of course not. Being too paranoid over stupid things was a major one. The littlest things, from taking someone's word the wrong way, to worrying too much about the future. Most things set her off, and that's what mostly made people distant from her. It was annoying at times, and Alanna herself knew it, but, she was working on it. Not everyone is perfect, right? Another imperfection in her life would be self-esteem/respect. Sure she had it, but not enough. In her eyes, she could be ten times better, regardless if it was the truth or not. It often caused a sadness in her that would make her distant herself from others, but of course, the optimism in Alanna's like would spring her back to normal.

She could 'blame' her personality, and the way she acted upon parents, peers, and especially her brother, who she'd gain respect and looked up to on a regular basis, since sixteen years back. Her warm-loving heart opened up and sent out sympathy to anyone who desired it, regardless if it was required or not. She was a softie, but that's just how she was raised.

Some could easily mistake the petite princess as a spoiled, self centered, cold hearted at the least, little brat, but it was those who knew the real Alanna, who saw her real beauty and intelligent mind that knew that rumors were a simple fame. So she got the clothes, the looks, and the body. So girls were jealous. It was a disease, and certainly began far before seventeen years ago.

Flawless? A girl can only dream. She was average, wishing of attracted guys, jealous of any supermodel's gorgeous glowing body, and certainly lacking in the math department within school. She had friends, as well as the enemies. It was life, she was in it, and there weren't any easy ways out of it. Regardless what any ignorant mind could imagine.

Character History
Mother & Father; Sandra & Anthony Petrella.
Siblings; Michael Joseph Petrella (21)
History; Well, it all started back in a big city in the state of New York. No, not NYC, a bit smaller, but almost matching in crime rate. Luckily, her parents and older brother managed to make it out well in a safe little suburb town, just twenty minutes from the city itself.

Alanna was the youngest of the two children in the Petrella home. Michael was her older brother of age twenty. There was no closer brother and sister. Of course the sibling brawl would occur, that's natural, but when it all boiled down, the two looked to eachother for everything. They were their worlds. Sandra and Anthony, Mr. & Mrs. Petrella were the creators of the two. They weren't divorced and they had decent paying jobs. They were supportive of their kids, and stepped up to play the defensive and protective parents when need be. Did they fight? Don't all families? Family appreciation was big in the true Italian family.

Back to Alanna. At the age of two or so, the young girl found her love and passion for dance. And at the age of sixteen, nothing has changed except technique, skill, strength, and love for the activity. The first pair of ballet, tap, and nearly endless other variety in shoes were gifts from the heavens above. There was no greater passion in Alanna's life than dancing.

Hard times unfortunately clicked throughout her life. At the age of thirteen, she experienced a loss she figured no one could compare too. Her best friend of nine years was diagnosed with cancer, and passed on at the age of fourteen. Death was one thing that completely changed Alanna, for the worse and yet somewhat for the better. It's been said that the incident itself is the cause for her paranoia. Although it was hard, Alanna managed to hold her head high, and continue to breathe.

....as she continues to, each and everyday.
